Something appealing run through my mind when I was lying on my bed. Come, ride on the Time Machine with me...When I was primary 5 in 1999, when facebook and friendster doesn't exist(maybe there are other social networks), we had this trend of writing autograph book in the class. It was prevalent in the cohort where almost everybody owns the so-called autograph book(its something like a diary with nice pictures and fanciful designs on the cover). What we have to write in the book goes like this:
Name:
D.O.B:
Class:
Address:
Hobbies:
Favourite Food:
Favourite Drinks:
Favourite Colour:
Favourite so on and so forth and last but not least,
Secret Admirer:
Admire Most:
So after you finished your presonal information, you have to end off by writing a poem. It goes someting like this: "Dink Milo Be Hero Exam Comes Get Zero" those kind of lame shit. Haha. And the rule of thumb is that nothing must be left blank and everything must be written in coloured pens.
So, so, so, I got myself an autograph book too. Some girls are really fascinated by this hobby of writing autograph books or should I say they have an insatiable appetite for autograph book. One person can have up to 5 books. It does get boring when you have to write for everyone's book, writing the same stuff for umpteen times.
I was thinking to comb my house for that book but: "Eddy, don't waste your time lah. That book is gone long ago." And, and, and, Pokemon was also a hot stuff at that time. But I guess this trend no longer exist nowadays, as people always keep abreast with the latest trends and developments.
Like it or not, That's My Childhood!
